Boom lifts are a type of aerial work platform (AWP) that is used to provide elevated access to work areas. It consists of a platform or bucket that is attached to a hydraulic arm or boom, which is mounted on a mobile or stationary base. The boom can be rotated, extended, and elevated to provide access to difficult-to-reach areas, such as building exteriors, bridges, and utility poles.
There are different types of boom lifts, including telescopic booms, articulating booms, and trailer-mounted boom lift. Boom lift may be powered by electricity, diesel, gasoline, or propane, depending on the application and environment in which they will be used.
